¶ 1. Hops (Humulus lupulus) - Cascade variety
¶ A: Vegetative Growth to Flowering
Plant Part: Petiole
Sampling Procedure: Begin petiole sampling when the hop plants are about halfway to the top of the trellis. Start at the tip and select petioles from the youngest, fully developed leaves, about 5 to 6 feet above the ground. Collect 30 to 50 petioles from the yard. Sample different varieties separately. Do not ship samples in plastic bags.
